National Adult Safeguarding Week is taking place from Monday 21st November to Sunday 27th November 2022. The Ann Craft Trust’s theme for this year’s safeguarding week is ‘Responding to Contemporary Safeguarding Challenges’ and you can find out more about this by visiting the Ann Craft Trust website.
The BHSAB, along with the other Sussex SABs, will be supporting National Adults Safeguarding Week through activities that include developing learning resources on Shared Themes from Sussex SARs as well a range of pan-Sussex SAB posters and a leaflet.
Our partners will also be undertaking a range of activities during this period. The NHS Sussex Safeguarding and looked after children team are hosting a virtual, multi-agency Safeguarding Fortnight for professionals across Sussex between 14th – 25th November 2022. The fortnight will contain a broad range of safeguarding training topics and speakers will include Allsorts, ‘Lads Like Us’, Counter Extremism Officer, Public Health, Adults and Children’s Designated Nurses, Child Death Nurses, Domestic Abuse Professionals, and others.
All of these sessions will be free to attend and here are the details of each event that serve as a link to book tickets.
