Safeguarding Adults Boards have a statutory duty to develop and publish a strategic plan setting out how they will meet their objectives.
The Brighton and Hove Safeguarding Adults Board (BHSAB) develop and publish three-year strategic plans that reflect our vision and our priorities. The strategic plan is updated on an annual basis.
Our current strategic plan is from 2019–2022 and can be accessed here. It has been updated this year (2020-2021) to reflect the current Coronavirus pandemic as well as an increased focus on areas of exploitation, such as modern slavery, and emerging safeguarding themes such as transitions.
The strategic plan informs work plans for the various subgroups of the BHSAB.
